Chase the Ace of Hearts is an ongoing
50/50 raffle weekly drawing held at
Shooters Pub in Exeter, NH!

  • • For every ticket purchased, 50% goes to the Children’s Fund and 50% goes to the jackpot.

  • Chase the Ace is held only at Shooters Pub

  • • Head to Shooter's Pub & Exeter Lanes (6 Columbus Ave, Exeter, NH) during operational hours.

    • Find the wall-mounted ticket dispenser in the Pub. it's next to the neon sign with the week’s jackpot totals

    • Feed your cash into the dispenser - $1 = One Ticket (no change given)

    • Write your name & number on the back of the ticket and drop it in the blue mitten box under the dispenser to be entered for that week’s drawing

    • Drawings are Tuesday nights at 7:00 pm

    • You do not need to be present to win, but we encourage you to join us for the fun!

  • • The week’s tickets will be placed in a rolling drum and tumbled. A single ticket will be drawn from the week’s entries.

    • 10% of the week’s proceeds are awarded to the winning ticket owner and they will have their chance to pick a card from the game’s active deck.

    • If the winning ticket owner is present, they will pick from the game's active deck.

    • If the winning ticket owner is not present, the draw supervisor will choose a representative to pick a card. Any winnings, including the 10% proceeds, are awarded to the ticket owner NOT the representative.

    • The game’s active deck will be shuffled and spread out face down on a flat surface, the ticket holder/representative will choose only one card and keep their finger on the selected card. All other cards will be removed by the draw supervisor and then the draw supervisor will flip the selected card.

    • Any selected card other than the Ace of Hearts will be torn in half, half is discarded and half is displayed on the board with the week’s winning ticket.

  • • 10% of the week’s proceeds are awarded for having the week’s winning ticket

    • $100 is awarded if a Joker is found

    • The entire Jackpot is awarded when the Ace of Hearts is found

  • • A new game begins!

    • The game starts with 54 cards (full deck and 2 Jokers) and the selected card is permanently removed from the deck each week until the Ace of Hearts is found.

    • The Jackpot resets, and starts at $1000.

    • Odds of finding the Ace increase weekly as the deck is depleted of its other cards.

  • • On January 8, 2019, with only 6 cards left (Week 46 of play) Shane Pond found the Ace of Hearts and took home the biggest jackpot yet totaling $46,895

    • Other Jackpots have ranged from $1500 - $15,000

    • The longer the game goes on the bigger the jackpot builds!

  • One winning ticket will be drawn for a chance to draw the Ace of Hearts from a deck of cards and potentially win the jackpot. If a joker is drawn the ticket holder wins $100.00. 10% of weekly ticket sales will be given to the ticket holder drawn at the time of the drawing each week. 50% of the weekly sales will benefit The Community Children’s Fund and the remaining proceeds will accumulate in the Ace of Hearts jackpot until the Ace of Hearts is drawn. Cards will be shuffled, spread out face down and mixed. The ticket winner or representative will put a finger on the selected card and all other card will be removed while ticket holder keeps finger on selected card. Once the surrounding cards have been removed, the selected card will be turned over by the draw supervisor. If the Ace of Hearts is turned up, the winning ticket holder will receive the accumulated amount in the Chase the Ace jackpot. If the card drawn is not the Ace of Hearts the card is removed and cut in half, one half discarded, the other half is displayed. The amount in the Chase the Ace jackpot then carries forward to next draw. Once the Ace of Hearts is revealed the game is concluded.
